Anna Rac
As a classically trained pianist and abstract expressionist artist, Anna sees the similarity between music and painting. Born in Poland she started playing the piano at the age of four. She later graduated with a degree in music from the University of Illinois, and now uses classical music to inspire her artwork.
She describes her painting process as a totally immersive and emotional experience. From music to canvas, her approach is spontaneous and is often met with new an unexpected results. As a result, her works are lyrical, dynamic, and multilayered—much like the music from which she draws inspiration.
